Dance for Peace
In a circle, dancing to music from different parts of the world, we come together to experience community through movement, find inner peace, and dance with the intention of peace — within ourselves and in the world.
Dance for Peace
In a circle, dancing to music from different parts of the world, we come together to experience community through movement, find inner peace, and dance with the intention of peace — within ourselves and in the world.

A gathering in movement, rhythm, and presence
We dance simple circle choreographies to music from different parts of the world. Their repetition and rhythm help us feel grounded, calm the mind, and experience connection — with our own bodies, with other people, and with Life.
Dance for Peace restores the original experience of being in a circle — a place where everyone is welcome, seen, and important. Here, dance becomes a language beyond divisions, a way of being together despite differences.

An open and free form of gathering for everyone — regardless of age, experience, or ability.
This gathering is for you if you want to
Experience community
Be among people in a simple, natural way — without pressure, judgment, or the need to ‘know how’.
Find peace
Enter a rhythm that helps quiet the mind, return to the body, and cultivate greater presence.
Dance with the intention of peace
Within yourself, in relationships, and in the world — through the shared experience of movement and togetherness.
Simply come as you are
Regardless of age, experience, or ability. Everyone is important and warmly welcome here.
What do the gatherings look like?
We meet in a circle and dance simple steps and gestures to music from different parts of the world. No dance experience is needed. Presence and willingness to be together matter more than technique.
- Simple Circle Dances that are easy to feel and join at your own pace.
- An open and free format rooted in a shared intention of peace, presence, and community.
- Each circle is autonomous, yet connected to the others through the same idea.

Words that guide this intention
In this initiative, dance is not just movement. It is a practice of presence, community, and peace.
“Peace is not the goal. Peace is the way.”
“An intention set into motion is like a song. And when sung together, with time reality begin to dance with it.”
“Peace is not only negotiated. It is practised. And sometimes, it is danced.”
“When we are present in our bodies and breath, we become a safe space for the world.”
Join the project — start a group
If you would like to join the project, write to me. The gatherings do not have to take place every week — they can be organized every two weeks or once a month.
A voluntary contribution toward the venue is possible, but it is important that participation in the gatherings remains free of charge.

Zuzanna Pędzich
Dance for Peace grew out of many years of practicing Circle Dance and mindfulness in movement, as well as from the experience that dancing together helps us rediscover a sense of connection, safety, and peace. For 30 years, I have been leading Circle Dance while simultaneously developing and practicing Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) in Poland. In my work, I combine therapeutic experience (DMT and IFS), dances that tell stories, and the practice of meditation in movement, creating spaces where movement becomes a path toward presence, connection, and transformation. In the photo with Stefan Freedman, whose choreographies have been a great inspiration for Dance for Peace.
